As a part of the Membership Drive for the Society of Robotics and Automation, 120 Students registered with us in a short span of 14 days! We look forward to a year of great activities, starting with IITB's Tech fest, where we shall be participating in Robowars, Technovanza on 30th, 31st of January and 1st of February, where we're working on Autoport 2.0 and Horizons, along with organising a Botcamp, and Robo con 2009. We look forward to your participation as members of these teams.

Also Mentorship is something that is open to members from now! So if you have a project of moderate level of difficulty, demand a mentor for it from one of us, someone who will guide you through it from start to finish. You shall be alloted one senate member to help you along the way and you'll find your work halfed and learning doubled!

The workshop on Basic Autonomous Robotics is scheduled for the 1st and 2nd of December 2008. The society members who registered their names while registering for the society have to pay Rs. 1500 toward the take home Robot Kit. The fees must be paid to Niraj Sanghvi in MLR 11 (between 11 am to 1 pm) by the 23rd of November.
