The 3 day workshop on Robotic Simulation which started from 14th December, 2009 concluded successfully on the 16th of December 2009.

The workshop was conducted by Abheek from Robots-Alive, a robotics start-up based in Ahmedabad. Robots-Alive had earlier organized a demonstration of a robotic arm they had developed, as a quick peek into Robotics technology as implemented in industrial applications.

The workshop involved development and simulation of basic robotic systems. The workshop was particularly successful in covering the mathematics and analysis which go into the development of Robotic systems. Good working knowledge of direct and inverse kinematics was imparted.

The workshop saw participation from 35 students from all years and branches.

We hope a good number of the participating members work on this further and make good use of the tools and knowledge imparted.
