The SRA has received numerous acknowledgements for the various projects undertaken by its members. Some of them include: - Braille Tutor: First prize at Ventura'11', one of India's biggest and the most prestigious International Business Plan Competition at the National Institute of Technology–Tiruchi (NIT-T)
- Robocon 2011: Received the Best Economical Robot award.
- Humminger: Trophy for being qualified among the top ten teams in India for the DRDO Golden Jubilee Competition
- A.R.M.E.D.: Received best Exhibit award in Technovanza, a national Technical festival
- Horizons: Two research papers on this HCI device were published by SRA members.
